On a seminar on water conservation in coal mines was organized at HRD department, CCL Hq. Magsaysay award winner Shri Rajendra Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest. CMD, CCL Shri Gopal Singh, Director Tech (Operations) Shri V.K Srivastava, Director Technical (P&P) Shri Bhola Singh, Director (Finance) Shri N. K Aggarwal, General Mangers/HoDs from headquarter , distinguished journalist Shri Madhukar and other stakeholders were present on the occasion. Mr. Rajendra Singh, who is dubbed as the waterman of India, stated that it is of paramount importance to respect water, woman and rivers to save the planet earth. Mr. Singh who is recognized for his work in reviving the water bodies and rivers in Rajasthan further reiterated that it is essential to understand that water is climate and climate is water. Once this is comprehended then alone, we can save the water for future generations. Mr. Singh said that Coal India is one of the leading companies and he requested that management should device strategy on technical approaches and upending traditional pattern of development and resource use.
